Launch your knowledge of the rapidly expanding UK space sector through an insightful overview of Scotland-based rocket company, Skyrora, by Senior Business Development Associate, Rosie Hull. Through the development of their orbital launch vehicle, Skyrora XL, Skyrora will meet the demand for the many small satellites looking to access space from the UK, enabling valuable data collection in space that will ultimately improve our lives here on Earth.

Rosie highlights the larger dynamics at play within the newly emerging Scottish space industry and how Skyrora fits into this environment by providing launch capabilities to yield social, economic, and environmental benefits across the space value chain. With Scotland manufacturing more satellites than any other country in Europe, Skyrora’s mission to conduct the first commercial vertical launch to orbit from UK soil is crucial to the success of the wider sector. Rosie also discusses the series of rockets Skyrora are developing locally to achieve this mission and the sustainable processes behind their development.
