About Us

Glasgow Science Centre

Glasgow Science Centre is an educational charity that inspires and motivates people to engage with science. Our work is supported by a not-for-profit visitor experience and other revenue streams with all the income we generate being reinvested to support our charitable purpose.

Curious About Digital Festivals

Whilst the doors to Glasgow Science Centre were closed, we wanted to continue to engage with our visitors and support learning and curiosity. Our Curious About digital festival series is one of a range of resources we have developed during the pandemic.

Curious About festivals contain a wealth of resources, activities and games to further understanding of the world around you.  Each festival culminates in a series of Live events where you can hear from scientists about their work and ask them questions.

Our first digital festival in February 2021 was Curious About: Our Planet.  Packed full of information about climate change and the solutions we have available to us as we approach the COP26 conference.

Idea No59

Curious About Innovation in May 2021 was inspired by our Idea No59 exhibition which celebrates the spirit of innovation and how it can change the world.  You can find out more about Idea No59 here: Idea No59 | Glasgow Science Centre.  You can visit the exhibition in person from 25 June 2021.
