Dr Stephanie Adams’s work sits at the intersection of psychology, physical activity for health, and brain science\u2014bridging research, policy, and real-world practice to improve how concussion is understood, managed, and taught across sport and education sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephanie is an Honorary Fellow in Sport & Brain Health at the University of Edinburgh, and Founder and Director of ConcussED. She also serves as a concussion education consultant to sportscotland. Widely recognised for her leadership in global concussion education initiatives, she has contributed to major international learning platforms, including the University of Calgary\u2019s MOOC on concussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Co-Chair of the Scottish Concussion Advisory Group, Stephanie plays a central role in shaping the Scottish Sports Concussion Guidance. Her professional affiliations include membership of the British Psychological Society (Division of Sport & Exercise Psychology) and the Edinburgh Sports Medicine Research Network. She is also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Adams holds a PhD in concussion education from the University of Edinburgh (awarded under the Principal\u2019s Career and Edinburgh Global Scholarships), an MSc in Human Cognitive Neuropsychology with Distinction (University of Edinburgh), and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with a focus on neuro- and developmental psychology from Acadia University, Canada.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n
