Meet Blair and Jasper from the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, and some of their favourite residents of Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park. Learn about the animals, and the work the RZSS is doing to protect endangered species in the wild.

About Blair Cockburn and Jasper Hughes
Blair Cockburn is a Discovery and Learning Officer who works at Edinburgh Zoo. He has worked at Edinburgh Zoo for 12 years, leading educational workshops across the site for people of all ages. Before beginning work here,he studied zoology at the University of Edinburgh and worked in various education settings which led to him training as a secondary school biology teacher! He has always loved wildlife, and spends most weekends exploring nature with his young family.
Jasper started his journey with RZSS as a keeper, where he combined his love of animals and educating others about the natural world on the presentations team. Now he is a Learning and Community Officer and uses his extensive animal knowledge and passion for all things wild to develop and deliver programmes for a huge range of learners. He works with schools, universities, and many diverse community groups, exciting them about wildlife and inspiring them to help create a world where nature is protected, valued and loved.
